Advent Devotionals

Our world is so full of ideas of what success and happiness look like.  Being wealthy, popular, maybe successful at business.  These things seem to consume us more than fulfill us.

I imagine that Zacchaeus had similar thoughts during his life too.  One day he hears that Jesus is going to be coming through town and he goes to great lengths (and heights) to get a peek at the “new and living way.”  Jesus is also drawn towards this empty, desperate man and risks being slandered to build a connection with Zacchaeus.

After this encounter, it appears that everything changed for “Zach.”  Take a moment to encounter Jesus today.  He’s ready to be WITH you.
