Rooted Hope: Rooted Hope: When Faith Wavers

This week in the Rooted Hope series, we explored the story of Elijah, a prophet who witnessed incredible miracles but then ran in fear from Jezebel's threat. Pastor Kirk showed how Elijah struggled with doubt and depression even after seeing God work powerfully. The sermon revealed that we all have moments when our faith goes up and down based on our circumstances. We learn that God doesn't reject us when we're struggling but pursues us instead. Rooted hope begins to take shape as we understand that God meets us in our crisis of faith and speaks in the gentle whisper we need to hear.
