Little Books, Big Impact: Christ, Therefore, Freedom

This week kicks off the Little Books, Big Impact series with a look at Colossians 2, a short letter Paul wrote to a church surrounded by competing versions of faith, from strict rule keeping to other gods to spiritual showmanship to religion mixed with political power. Pastor Cory showed how Paul's answer to all of it was the same: everything they were searching for, they already had in Christ. The message traced how good things like tradition and conviction can quietly turn into walls that decide who is in and who is out, and how Jesus keeps walking through those walls to reach the people on the other side. Christ, therefore, freedom becomes the phrase we carry out of Colossians 2, an invitation to stop adding to what Jesus has already finished.
