What It's Like
Come as you are. Jeans, t-shirts, whatever's comfortable. Nobody's going to look twice at what you're wearing.
We're together for about an hour and 15 minutes. We sing with a live band, hear a message from one of our pastors, and leave room for God to move. We pray "Come, Holy Spirit" and actually mean it. It's simple and not showy, and you can join in as much or as little as you like.
ASL interpretation is available at the 9 AM gathering.

From the Parking Lot to Your Seat
Arriving
Parking is close to the door, and our team will be outside to say hi and point you in the right direction.
In the lobby
Grab a free coffee or iced tea, or stop by Numa Coffee for a latte. There's a big lounge with couches and tables. Sit down, say hello to someone, and take your time. Nobody's going to hurry you along.
In the room
Find a seat wherever feels comfortable. Sing along or just listen. If you'd like prayer for anything at all, someone from our prayer team would love to pray with you.
What we hope you find
Stop by Numa for our Connections Corner. It's a chance to meet some of our staff and leaders and find out where you might fit.

Where Do My Kids Go?
Bringing kids somewhere new is a lot. Here's exactly where each age goes, so you're not guessing.

Nursery (birth to 2)
Open the whole service, so you can drop off and head to worship.
Kids (age 3 to 5th grade)
Kids start in worship with you, then head to class before the message.
Middle school
They worship with their families, then head to the Next Gen Building before the message.
High school
They stay for the whole service. Youth group meets Wednesday nights.
Check-in opens 10 minutes before each service, on the north end of the building. Our team will walk you through it. Every child gets a printed tag, and if we need you, your child's number will show up on the main screen. So you can relax and actually be present.
A Few Things People Ask
How long is a service?
About an hour and 15 minutes.
What should I wear?
Whatever's comfortable. Most people are in jeans.
Will I be welcomed?
Yes. A lot of us were new not that long ago, so we remember what that first Sunday feels like.
What's worship like?
We sing with a live band. It's heartfelt, not a performance. Sing along or just listen. There's no pressure either way.
Can someone pray with me?
Yes. Our prayer team is available every Sunday, and anyone can ask for prayer, whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth.
I heard you had ASL interpretation?
We do. At the 9 AM gathering.
What's the Vineyard?
We're part of the Vineyard movement, a family of churches that's been growing for four decades around a few shared convictions. We stick to the main and plain teachings of Jesus, and we expect God to show up in ordinary life, not just on Sundays.

That's what Canyon View Church is about. Not a program, not a personality, not a list of rules. Jesus.
We exist to enjoy, and invite others into, a new way to live as a deeply loved apprentice of Jesus.
Maybe you've followed him for years. Maybe you're still not sure who he is. Either way, you're already loved. That's the starting point, not something you have to earn.
