Practicing the Way: Generosity in God’s Economy

This week’s message continues our Practicing the Way series with a look at generosity. Guest speaker Jack English, from Windsor Vineyard, taught that Jesus talked about money so often because it’s tied to our hearts, and what we do with it reveals what we really trust. He invited us to see ourselves as managers of what belongs to God and to give Him our first and best instead of our leftovers. As we give, God provides so that we can be generous on every occasion and bless the people around us. Generosity isn’t about earning anything from God, but it is a better way to live, one that takes faith and courage and trusts the generous Father who gave everything for us.
