Little Books Big Impact: The Attitude of Christ
This week's message continues the Little Books Big Impact series with the second chapter of Philippians, a letter Paul wrote from a Roman prison to a church he loved deeply. Pastor Kirk brought this passage to life by asking a question most of us quietly wrestle with: if becoming more like Jesus is the goal, why does it feel so impossible? Philippians 2 gives us a clear picture of what Jesus's attitude actually looked like, including humility that put others first, servanthood that moved toward people instead of waiting to be asked, and obedience that held steady even when it cost everything. The catch is that none of this comes from trying harder. It comes from opening our hearts to the Holy Spirit, who is the only one who can actually form that kind of character in us.
