Real Encounters with the Holy Spirit: The One Ghost You Don't Have To Be Afraid Of
April 12th – May 31st
Ghost stories are meant to unsettle you. They're passed down, whispered, told around fires. They're about encounters with something you can't fully explain.
In that way, the story of the Holy Spirit might be the greatest ghost story ever told.
Is the Holy Spirit spooky? Scary? Confusing? For a lot of people, He's the most misunderstood part of the Christian faith. There's even a reason some people call Him the Holy Ghost.
This spring at Canyon View Church, we're taking an honest look at who the Holy Spirit is, what He does, and what it looks like to follow someone you can't see. Through scripture and history, we'll look at ordinary people who encountered the Spirit and were changed. Not polished saints. Regular people.
And we'll ask the question we've always tried to live here: what does it actually look like when His power shows up in our lives and in a place like Grand Junction?
At Canyon View Church, we believe the Holy Spirit is still moving, still showing up, and still changing lives today. Ghost Stories is an invitation to find out what that could look like for you.
Join us Sundays at 9:00 am or 11:00 am, or catch up on past messages below.
